TRANQUILITY PARK – Conservation Park

The Conservation Park borders the grazing land where visitors can see red deer, miniature horses and a miniature bull grazing.  Nature Walks through  the conservation area which is dominated by Melaleucas, Casuarinas and Native Wattles offer a step back in time and exemplifies the homeland of the early inhabitants.

The nature walk commences with a Boardwalk along a Billabong which collects all the rainwater from the roofs of the buildings. The walk continues into the bush land which is home to wallabies, possums, goannas and other reptiles with the tree tops singing by a variety of native birds. A series of tracks lead to a resting place adjacent to the property’s large dam and an adjoining lake on the neighboring property. Visitors then continue to cross over the watercourse via an obstacle bridge, which leads to a wetland area. Over 200 wooden stepping blocks meander through the wetland and joins a path leading to an open grassed area where visitors can practice boomerang throwing.
